Homeowner Education I and II 

This required educational series covers the Green Country Habitat mortgage process, as well appraisals and why they are needed, along with different types of homeowner insurance available. This course is conducted for 7 hours each period in one day. Habitat staff are present, as well as the various field experts.

Money Management I and Money Management II 

This series covers budgeting, credit repair, banks and banking, interest, car purchase, and retirement. The course is taught by MidFirst Bank staff and conducted in modules over a two-day period.

Good Neighbor 

The course covers important information to keep you on the right side of the city and your neighbors – yard maintenance, trash and debris, inoperable motor vehicles, parking, illegal business, fencing, and trees. The course is conducted by Karen Gilbert, Exec. Dir. of Crime Commission, on a scheduled weeknight. Duration is 1 ½ hours.


Well Being 

The course covers the existing programs offered by the Health Department for the Well Being of the families, including mosquito program, WIC and nutrition services, a free health program for class moms and kids, and vaccination services. Duration 1 hour.


Banking 101 

The course will teach about the various products and services offered by most banks about basic loans, including consumer and commercial loans, and the characteristics of each loan type. Also, will cover the importance of deposits to the bank and the various types of deposits that the bank offers. Class duration 1 ½ hours.
